Jakarta, Jagatgame.id – The Game Awards hadir menjadi ajang tahunan bergengsi bagi pelaku industri game seluruh dunia. Apresiasi terhadap pemenang akan Lanjut terasa dalam jangka lama, salah satunya dengan tumbuhnya fanatisme dari para penikmat game itu sendiri. Kategori indie game juga sering mendapat perhatian dari para penikmat. Salah satu sebabnya ialah keunikan tema ataupun desain yang kadang diluar pakem mainstream. Seperti Stray, pemenang edisi The Game Awards 2022, sebuah game dengan tema kucing sebagai protagonis utamanya. Menawarkan sudut pandang seekor kuncing dalam mengarungi kehidupannya. Sungguh menarik.
Kategori dalam penghargaan dalam The Game Awards pun Lanjut berkembang seiring dinamika industri game itu sendiri. Hadirnya penghargaan Demi game berbasis Augmented/ Virtual Reality dan penghargaan Demi ajang esports terbaik menjadi gambaran betapa industri game Enggak pernah berhenti di satu tempat.
