Jakarta, Jagatgame.id – Sesuai prediksi banyak pihak Baldur’s Gate 3 berhasil mendapatkan penghargaan Game of The Year (GOTY) pada ajang The Game Awards 2023 bertempat di the Peacock Theater Los Angeles, California, Amerika Perkumpulan pada hari Kamis (7/12) waktu setempat. Keberhasilan tersebut didapat setelah menyisihkan Alan Wake 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Resident Evil 4, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, dan The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom yang sempat menjadi nominasi terkuat pada awal tahun.
Selain mendapat penghargaan GOTY, game besutan Larian Studios ini juga berhasil menyabet kategori lain. Penghargaan kategori Best Player’s Voice, Best Community Support, Best Multiplayer Game, dan Best Role Playing Game menjadi pelengkap capaian Primer GOTY.
Keberhasilan game ini menjadi GOTY salah satunya karena Pandai mengombinasikan aksi dan cerita secara sempurna. Kedalaman Watak yang disajikan juga berhasil membuatnya Bukan mudah dilupakan. Sudah begitu pihak developer Pandai menyajikannya dalam mode multiplayer sehingga dapat melibatkan banyak pemain Kepada terlibat secara bersamaan.
Sebelum ajang penghargaan ini, Baldur’s Gate sudah mendapatkan penilaian tinggi dalam review di Metarcritic.com. Dengan meta score mencapai Nomor 96 poin sehingga mendapat stempel ‘Must-Play’, serta skor pemain mencapai Nomor 8.9 poin dari lebih 14 ribu reviewers.

Alan Wake 2 Susul Baldur’s Gate 3
Alan Wake 2 menjadi game besar lain yang mengiringi Baldur’s Gate 3 sebagai peraih penghargaan terbanyak. Game Ciptaan Remedy Entertainment tersebut berhasil meraih tiga penghargaan Kepada kategori yang cukup bergengsi, yakni Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, dan Best Art Direction.
Sementara itu The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom yang sempat hadir sebagai kandidat kuat peraih GOTY hanya berhasil menyabet satu penghargaan sebagai Best Action/Adventure Game. Begitu juga dengan Final Fantasy XVI yang meraih Best Score/Music.
